Hello! This is a small project run by Hannah Dingwall Bae, a historian in the making. I’m really interested in the impact and the legacy of the women who have held the title ‘Princess of Wales’, so I started this blog and accompanying Instagram account (@prncsswales) in early 2023 to start piecing together the history of the title and the role it has been built into.

On the Princess.Wales blog, I hope to bring together information and insights into each individual title holder on a variety of topics and provide answers to common (and uncommon!) questions about the Princesses of Wales.

Although there will be posts regarding the current title holder, please note that this is first and foremost a historical blog, so current events are unlikely to be covered or immediately commented on.
